Approach

We can work together in two ways:
Training Workshops or Situational Coaching.

Training Workshops

This approach is appropriate for companies and people interested in nurturing and expanding their social capital through continuous learning.

The training follows a practical management philosophy I've developed during the last decade, called SHINE.
It includes the most critical management, people, and leadership skills tech managers need in order to become better at their job, which is to produce results through people. It ultimately helps transform managers into servant leaders who always deliver an aligned outcome and create a culture of trust, growth, and cooperation through the power of example.

The primary target audience for the workshops are fresh new minted tech managers, i.e. individuals that are just stepping into this beautiful and challenging realm. A lot of the content is also suited for more established and still curious managers who are committed to hone and scale their approach, and eventually help others follow in their steps.

I cover a large spectrum of topics from essential organizational psychology - like trust, awareness, hiring, safety, and engagement, to critical operational ones - like decision making, processes, metrics, and productivity. Each topic comes paired with a fair amount of targeted practical advice, techniques and mindsets proven to help making the right choices in each situation.
I plan to keep refining and adding new topics over time, based on your feedback and any new trends in management.

Workshops are offered individually and in predefined bundles, but you can create your own set that fits your individual interests. I tend to believe they are more efficient when held in-person rather than online, but ultimately it is entirely your call.

Situational Coaching

This approach is more suited when you as an individual - or your company, are experiencing some form of managerial distress or are going through some hardship. You are looking for a way out, back on tracks. Simply put, you have a problem and you are not sure which is the right solution.

We can look for possible solutions together.
I work in a consulting capacity with companies and individuals helping them navigate or transition safely from problems like:

  • organizational dependency bottlenecks

  • lack of or inability to delegate

  • ad-hoc operational processes

  • inability to meet increased demand

  • rampant attrition

  • unrealistic and subjective expectations

  • impostor syndrome

  • lack of communication between parts of organization

  • lack or decrease of innovation abilities

  • stressing and blaming environment

  • frequently missing deadlines and slow general delivery

Each particular situation, individual and organization are in fact ingredients that have the potential to generate a multitude of unique problems, each with multiple solutions. Therefore, I take a lot of time and care in getting to know my clients and their particular problem, from the moment they reach out and ask for help. Like with brewing coffee, together we can tweak or change these ingredients, refine the brewing techniques, and ultimately pick the appropriate solution for you, so you can transition to a better state in a relatively short period of time.

We will be working together through a staging system, called AIR.

During the first stage of Assessment, I will work with you and your organization to gather all the necessary data so we can have a 360º view of the problem, and share the same understanding of your current situation. We'll follow up with the Identification stage, in which we will review the findings and I'll advance some potential solutions to the problem. We will then review them together and decide on a resolution. Once we've reached alignment, we'll wrap up with the Realization stage, during which I'll guide you through the implementation of our common plan.

And at the end of our collaboration, we’ll do a final assessment to measure your improvement from start to finish.

If what you read above resonates with you and you want to find out more, let's have a quick chat. It's completely free and confidential, so you really have nothing to lose. Sometimes just talking about our problems help us see ways out and potential solutions...
